POLN greetings 2008 to all Christians who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar

«...the angel said to them: “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: for today in the city of David, a Savior has been born for you who is Christ and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.”» Luke 2:10-12.

To each of you — readers, members of the Fund and friends of Montenegro around the world — who will celebrate the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ according to the Gregorian calendar, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I wish you to spend this Christmas 2008 surrounded by your families and beloved in well-being, inner peacefulness, joy and happiness, sharing together the love of our Lord with your love, the love for Him and all your neighbours.

I pray the grace of Christmas, which is the day of the coming of Light into the world, a day of wonderful joy for all who confess His faith, universal symbol of mutual respect, understanding and tolerance, will be blessed in Montenegro, in Balkans and all around the world with peace — both spiritually and generally — among believers, friends and neighbours, regardless of their religious convictions, practices, and ethnicity.

Whatever the shadows be in your lives, may the Light coming at Christmas brighten your days and move you towards the spiritual path of peace and serenity.

My family and I wish everyone a very Happy and Safe New Year, may 2009 make your dreams come true and bring you success in any work moved by the generosity of spirit and dedicated to the general well-being and progress, the personal and mutual happiness, and the human realisation.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2009!
Srećan Božić i Nova 2009. Godina!

LORD’S PEACE,
CHRIST IS BORN!
INDEED IS BORN!
