Today, this Wednesday April 9, 2008, took place at the Kadriorg Palace in Tallinn, Estonia, an official ceremony during which H.E. Mr. Milorad Ščepanovič, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to Estonia, presented his letters of credence to the President of the Republic, H.E. Mr. Toomas Hendrik Ilves.

During the private audience that followed, President Ilves, after wishing H.E. Ambassador Ščepanovič good luck and a lot of success in his work, expressed his satisfaction regarding Montenegro’s decision to name an Ambassador to Estonia and noted that this step will undoubtedly bring the two countries closer together. “The relations between Estonia and Montenegro are good, but there is room for closer ties at all levels. Our economic relations also definitely need to be enlivened,” said the Estonian Head of State, adding that all this is helped by the opening of Montenegro’s mission in Tallinn.
