The President of Montenegro, H.E. Mr. Filip Vujanovic, rang The Closing Bell of the New York Stock Exchange

As part of the presidential visit to New York City, USA, from September 21 to 27, 2008 to attend the 63rd Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, today, this September 22 at approximately 04:00pm Eastern Time, the President of Montenegro, H.E. Mr. Filip Vujanović, has been invited to ring The Closing Bell of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

“It is a privilege and an honour to ring The Closing Bell of the New York Stock Exchange in order to promote Montenegro’s economic achievements and highlight it as an investment destination,” President Vujanović said. Subsequently, the President held talks about current events at the stock exchange with Mr. Duncan Niederaurer, Chief Executive Officer of the New York Stock Exchange.
