Montenegro recalls its Ambassador to the Republic of Slovenia

Mrs. Irena Radović, Spokesperson of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, announced today, this Friday June 20, 2008, that H.E. Mr. Branko Perović, residential Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Montenegro to the Republic of Slovenia, has been recalled yesterday to Podgorica, on Thursday June 19. During the vacancy in the ambassador’s post, Mrs. Dušanka Jeknić will be the Montenegro’s Chargé d’Affaires ad interim in Ljubljana.

Head of the Trade Mission of the Republic of Montenegro to Slovenia since 2000, Mr. Branko Perović has been named Ambassador after Montenegro declared its independence from Serbia. Mr. Branko Perović took up his post as Ambassador on Tuesday October 10, 2006.
