“ambafrance-me.org”: France affirms its presence in Montenegro

May 20, 2008, official launch of the internet site of the Embassy of France in Podgorica


H.E. Mr. Bernard Garancher, French Ambassador to Montenegro Under the impetus of H.E. Mr. Ambassador Bernard Garancher, who has been assuming his post in Podgorica since November 9, 2007, the internet portal of France in Montenegro, www.ambafrance-me.org, will be officially online in a few days, on next May 20.

Still under construction, the website of the Embassy of France aims in the long term to provide to French net-surfers the greatest number of information about political, economic, cultural and social developments between both countries, and to facilitate to them the access to procedures and laws in force in Montenegro, in particular those in the economic field, through the French Economic Mission in Belgrade.

Among other things, the website will offer to French citizens residing or remaining in Montenegro an online service and useful information enabling them to save time in the access to services provided by the Embassy.

It will also contain advise to travellers, and information related with documents and requirements necessary to settle and live in Montenegro.
