« The Night of Documentary Films of Montenegro »
Upon invitation of Madam Ambassador of Montenegro in France, H.E. Prof. Dr. Milica Pejanović-Đurišić, and the Agency for International Scientific, Educational, Cultural and Technical Co-operation ZAMTES, the community of Montenegrins from Paris and friends of Montenegro gathered together on Friday May 23, 2008 8:00pm at the Theater of the Fondation de l’Alliance Française - Maison des Cultures du Monde, 101 boulevard Raspail in Paris (6th), to celebrate the second anniversary of the National Independence by the way of a retrospective evening of the filmographic work by the best-known Montenegrin filmmaker and true master of the short documentary, M. Momir Matović.
As director of short-films herself, former student of the National Studio of Contemporary Arts Le Fresnoy, and presently working on her new film project “Not more quickly than life” — a road-movie full of documentary freshness in the heart of a Montenegro seen through the eyes of its youth, it is quite naturally that H.R.H. Princess Altinaï Petrovitch Njegosh — elder daughter of Crown Prince Nicolas and Princess France — was part of the guests come to celebrate the Independence and pay an homage to filmmaker Momir Matović.
Center of attraction for the community of Montenegrins from Paris, who are most of them friends of the family, this evening was the occasion for Princess Altinaï Princess to give to Montenegrin reporters attending this Paris event, a whole series of interviews with Momir Matović, as well as H.E. Madam Ambassador Pejanović-Đurišić.
